The Governor-elect in Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose has said he would want to be like Obafemi Awolowo by way of his political actions, expressing his desire to be respected like the political icon.
Fayose, on Sunday addressed journalists following his victory at the polls in Ekiti State, promising to work with outgoing governor, Kayode Fayemi, toward the progress of the State.
During the chat, he said he would work with Fayemi on all uncompleted projects and ensure that they are finished and not abandoned as is the trend when new governments take over office.
He also said he wants to tar all untarred roads in Ado Ekiti in two years and pay civil servants on 21st of every month
