The people of Ijare in Ifedore Local government area of Ondo state have pledged their support for the governorship ambition of the PDP candidate in the November 26 gubernatorial election, Eyitayo Jegede (SAN).
They made the pledge during the visit of Mr Jegede to the ancient town.
In demonstration of their love, the people who rolled out the drums to welcome Jegede to the town assured him of their unflinching support.
Speaking at the event, a former Accountant General of the state, Mr Olumoko IBukun said they would work for Mr Jegede because of his sound knowledge of human and material management.
According to him, "Jegede has served the state diligently for over seven years without blemish".
Contributing, a youth leader, Sunday Fasore the backing of youth in the council area for the PDP candidate.
Responding, Mr Jegede explained that his visit was to appreciate the people for identifying with his aspiration. He promised not to disappoint them.
Jegede used the forum to clear the on the rumour making the round that PDP has been fictionalized in the state saying their party is an indivisible entity.
