The dust raised by the last Saturday's Primary Election of the All Progressives Congress (APC) continued as the first runner-up in the exercise Olusegun Abraham rejected the return of Rotimi Akeredolu as the party's candidate
Akeredolu scored 669 votes to defeat Abraham, who scored 635 votes in the keenly contested election which lasted for almost seventeen hours.
Abraham who had earlier conceded defeat declared in a statement in Akure said that "the result was unacceptable to him considering the plethora of staggering facts of anomalies that have since emerged on the election.
Earlier on Sunday, another aspirant Olusola Oke who came third and some leaders of the party had questioned the emergence of Akeredolu. complaining that the delegate lists were manipulated in favour of the winner.
Abraham in a statement signed by the Director General of his campaign Organisation Olu Adegboro pointed out that Abraham had appealed to the party's election committee.
Adegboro said Abraham was baffled by "the gale of allegations and facts of malpractices that rocked the conduct and process of the Ondo gubernatorial primary election
