Jegede
The Independent National Electoral Commission [INEC] has published the names of Mr Eyitayo Jegede SAN as the authentic candidate of the Peoples Democratic party for the November governorship election.
Jegede's name was published alongside other 27 candidates that would fly their party's flags in the forthcoming poll billed for November 26, 2016.
INEC displayed their names (Thursday) at its headquarters office in Akure, Ondo state capital.
This will now put to rest the speculations on who the PDP candidate for the election is.
It would be recalled that business mogul, Jimoh Ibrahim had laid claim to the ticket after a controversial primary election in Ibadan.
The Ibadan primary election was shunned by INEC and disowned by the Clement Faboyede led PDP in the state.
Also, Mr Rotimi Akeredolu was listed as Apc candidate.
