56th Anniversary: Ondo PDP Guber candidate, Jegede says Nigeria will soon overcome challenges

As the people of Ondo state join other Nigerians across the globe to mark the nation's 56th Independence anniversary, the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, [PDP], in the Ondo November Election, Eyitayo Jegede [SAN] has expressed optimism that Nigeria will soon overcome the present socio-economic challenges.

Jegede in his goodwill message in Akure to felicitate Nigerians on another auspicious occasion in the Nation's history, said the Independence Day is a significant one for the people to take stock of the tortuous journey in the last 56 years.

The PDP candidate urged the people to renew their confidence in the Nigerian Project and work for her progress despite many seemingly overwhelming and perceived insurmountable challenges.

"Nigeria, our darling nation no doubt has had a tortuous sojourn to till date; it has seen seasons of towering achievements, challenges, yet with enormous prospects for prosperity. ‎

"As we celebrate Nigeria at 56 , I urge Nigerians to up our faith in the Nigeria project, always work to advance the nation's interests, and do all things in truth and for the love of our great land. Let me reassure you that Nigeria will come out of the woods very soon", he said.

Jegede reminded the people of Ondo state on the need to keep a date with him come November 26 2016 to enable the PDP led government continue on its trajectory of people oriented programes in the last seven and half years, which has made the state a template for meangingful development paradigm in the black nation.

He reassured of his commitment to the‎ economic prosperity of Ondo state, by harnessing the abundant human and natural resources.

According to him: "I therefore urge all citizens and residents of Ondo state to always live in harmony irrespective of political or religious affliation. Always, support us in ensuring that our state remains a place of pride.

November 26 is just around the corner, let's sustain the tempo of the PDP's acceptability across the 18 council areas, let's intensify the campaigns beacuse better days are surely ahead as we join hands in making the state the economic hub of the nation in
