Chairman of the people's Democratic in Ondo state Mr Clement Faboyede says Eyitayo Jegede( SAN )remains the Flagbearer of the party in the November Governorship Election.
Mr Faboyode who dropped the hint in Akure while reacting to the judgment by Justice Okoh Abang of the Federal High court in Abuja that, Eyitayo Jedege should be substituted explained that Jimoh Ibrahim belongs to the Accord Party.
According to him, all due processes were followed in selecting Mr Eyitayo Jegede as the party's flagbearer in the November governorship poll which is why no court judgment can truncate this.
He said the party's national working Executive committee submitted Eyitayo Jegede 's name to INEC as the PDP candidate in the Novemeber poll which he noted is line with PDP constitution.
He advised party members not be distracted and concentrate on winning the governorship election stressing that, PDP under his leadership would do everything possible under the law to correct the anomaly
