All is now set for the grand finale of the ODSFA U-13 & U-16 Soccer Tournament with the emergence of all the finalists.
In the Semi final matches decided at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure, Aquinas College, Akure recorded a 3-2 win over Yotuntun Secondary School, Ore in the U-16 category while Yotuntun Primary School hammered St Anthony of Akure by 4-0 to reach the final at the U-13 level.
According to the organisers of the tournament, the final matches at both the U-13 & U-16 levels will take place today at the Ondo State Sports Complex in Akure.
At the U -13 level, Owo High School will confront Yotuntun Primary School in a match billed for 1pm while the final match at the U-16 level takes the centre stage at 3pm between Ajunwa Grammar School, Okeagbe Akoko and Aquinas College, Akure.
The tournament being organised by the academy wing of the Ondo State Football Agency is aimed at discovering talented footballers in all the nooks and crannies of the state.
Mr Samuel Patani who is the Director in charge of the ODSFA Academy said all hands are on deck to have a colourful and hitch free grand finale.
" We are set for the grand finale which is expected to be colourful, the ODSFA leadership led by the Chairman, Prince Dapo Ajibade has provided every logistic needed to make the grand finale a huge success".
