The abandoned Ondo State government owed Sunshine estate on Oda road in Akure, has been taken over by men of the underworld.
Residents of neighbouring Vintage estate are now subjects of incessant attacks from them.
The sunshine estate was constructed by the state government about 7 years ago.
Now, the neglected estate has been abandoned and over grown by weeds and as well become a threat to life.
It is now an abode for men of the underworld who have turned their heats on residents of a neighbouring vintage estate.
Luck however ran against one of the suspected robbers at the weekend when the residents decided to comb the area.
Before he was caught, the suspect was living in a three bedroom apartment of the abandoned estate to perpetrate his dastardly act at will.
Mr Bode Ogunsina is the chairman landlord association of vintage estate, he said residents now sleep with one eye closed.
Some of the residents who recounted their ugly experiences called on the State government to wade into the matter.
The suspect who is said to have come from Benue state has been handed over to Civil defence Corps.
