Ondo APC Primary: Owo community beg Tinubu over Akeredolu

Worried that the frosty relationship between the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Mr Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) and the National Leader of the party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu  the people Owo in Owo Local Government Area of Ondo State Monday moved to intercede on behalf of the candidate.

The community comprising of monarchs, senior citizens, youths and party chieftains pleaded with Tinubu to forgive Akeredolu and support him in his bid to win the November 26 governorship election in the state. They also pleaded with other aspirants to cooperate with the candidate to ensure victory for him.

The community also pleaded with other aspirants who were aggrieved over the emergence of Akeredolu as the flagbearer to sheath their swords and support him in order for the APC to win the governorship seat.

At a rally organised by the Owo Youth Alliance (OYA),the people of the town said it is their turn to produce the successor of the incumbent, Dr Olusegun Mimiko as they have not produced a governor since the beginning of the present political dispensation.
