Ondo Guber: Segun Odidi emerges PDC governorship candidate

Honourable Segun Odidi has emerged as the governorship candidate of the People for Democratic Change (PDC) in the November 26 gubernatorial election in Ondo state.
 
At the party’s primary in Akure, the state capital which was well attended by PDC stalwarts from the nooks and crannies of the state and monitored by officials of the Independent National Electoral Commissioned, INEC, Mr Tunde Oyedele moved the motion for the adoption of honourable Odidi as sole candidate which was seconded by Chief Babatunde Ige.
 
The choice was then unanimously endorsed by all party faithful who vowed to work assiduously in ensuring the victory of the party at the fast approaching polls.
 
While thanking the party for picking him as its flagbearer, honourable Segun Odidi expressed optimism that pdc will produce the next ondo state governor and vowed to take the state to the next level on socio-political development.

The state party chairman, comrade Lawrence Oyebamiji who later presented the candidate to the public, described the Igbotako, Okitipupa local government born politician as the man to beat in the November 26 contest.
