For those travelling from Abuja to Lagos, the ever busy Ikare-Owo road in Ondo State is unavoidable has it now serves as the only link route between the northern and southern part of the country following the deplorable condition of Ipele-Idoani-Isua road.
However, for some years now, it has been cries of agony and distress for the residents of various communities within the axis of the road as well as motorists plying the road as the massive potholes on the roads has become gullies and death traps with the men of the underworlds and kidnappers taking advantage of the situation to perpetrate their acts.
With series of appeals to the Federal Government to fix the road to proving abortive, it has thus become a shadow of its self.
