Ondo NUJ sets up 2016 press week committee



 The Nigeria Union of Journalists, NUJ, Ondo State Council has set up a committee to organize its annual Press Week Ceremony.

 A statement signed by the State Secretary of the Union, Leke Adegbite says members of the Committee are drawn from all the ten chapels in the Council, NAWOJ and NUJ state Exco.

The statement indicates that the Union's Chairman, James Sowole urges the committee- chaired by Bisi Longe to organize a memorable Press Week this year.

Sowole also appeals to all journalists in the state to support the Committee for a successful outing.

The Committee members are: Bisi Longe (Chairman), Patience Ibeh (Secretary/Adaba FM), Hakeem Gbadamosi (Correspondents), Foluke Amodu (State Information), Tosin Ighoteghono (Radio Nigeria), Tomilola Emiola (Federated Chapel), Kunle Alonge (Federal Information), Bola Anifowose (NTA), Tola Gbadamosi (OWENA Press), Brown Lawani (LG Information), Dayo Johnson (OSRC), Sola Omotosho (NAWOJ Chairperson) and Leke Adegbite (NUJ State Secretary).

Some of the events for the Press Week include Thanksgiving services at Church & Mosque, Public Lecture/Symposium, Inter-Chapels Sports Competition, Asun Nite, Children's Party as well as Dinner & Award Nite.

The one week ceremony is expected to hold in December, this year.
