Akeredolu reiterates commitment to functional educational system in Ondo

Governor Akeredolu

The Ondo State Governor, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN, has again restated the commitment of his administration to bequeath a functional education system to the state.

Addressing a delegation of the National Leadership of Aquinas College,Akure Old Students Association in his office in Akure, Governor Akeredolu said a result oriented education system whose products would be sought after in the labour market is the desire of his administration.

While commending the old students for their all-round support for their alma mater, Governor Akeredolu assured stakeholders in the education sector that within a short while the impacts of his administration would cut across for all to see.

The governor also promised to give his personal support to the association, himself being an old student of Aquinas College Akure.

Earlier in his address, the National President,  Mr Smart Ladi Fadayomi had commended the laudable policies and projects of the Oluwarotimi Akeredolu Administration, which he described as bold decisions that could only be taken with the baking of " INTEGRITAS".

Mr  Fadayomi lauded the akeredolu led administration for the initiative of coming up with the last education summit aimed at repositioning the education sector in the state.

He also commended him for paying the state universal basic board (Subeb) counterpart fund which has changed the face of so many schools across the state.

Fadayomi implored the governor to give rapt attention to the development of the college as a former student, so as to bring back the lost glory of the school.

He maintained that as alumni of the college, they have contributed immensely to the school laboratory among other things.
