The Ondo state chapter of the All Progressives Congress, APC has adopted indirect primaries for all elective posts in the 2019 election.
The party made the resolution after a stakeholders meeting in Akure, the state capital.
The meeting was attended by governor of Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, his deputy, Agboola Ajayi, the state chairman of the party, Ade Adetimehin and members of the state working committee.
Speaker of the state house of assembly, Bamidele Oleyeyogun moved the motion for the adoption of indirect primaries and seconded by the party chairman in Owo local government, Stephen Olaleye.
The resolution followed a stakeholders meeting held behind close doors which was attended by senators tayo alasoadura, yele omogunwa and hon mayowa akinfolarin.
