Ondo state government will continue to build virile professionals and excellent workforce to ensure overall development of the state.
The Chairman of OSRC and Orange FM, Mr Kunle Adebayo spoke in Akure at a 2 day workshop for staff of the media organisations.
He said the workshop is part of government's strive to improve on workers efficiency and organizational excellence.
According to him, "the training was part of a reorganisation process to Strengthen the media organisations".
While noting that the state government has invested heavily on the stations to make them at par with their counterparts, Mr Adebayo said government would stop at nothing to make the organizations and workers the best around.
The acting Permanent Secretary in the ministry of lands and housing, Alhaji Kunle Sanni took the workers through the rudiments of official communications.
Also, The director of Finance and Administration in the ministry of information, Pastor Tayo Aliu delivered a lecture on Security: Treatment of files, confidential matters and classified documents.
Some of the workers interviewed said the workshop was an eye opener.
In recent years training has attracted increasing recognition not only as a strategy for achieving organizational goals but also as an important tool of inducing, and sustaining change.
This apparently informed the decision of the management of Ondo state Radiovision Corporation and orange FM to organise regular trainings and retraining of workers.
