Medical Lab. Council inducts Achievers Varsity's graduands

No fewer than 32 graduating students of Achievers University, Owo in ondo state have been inducted into the Medical Laboratory Council of Nigeria.

At the oath taking and induction ceremony held at the institution's Trinity auditorium, its Vice Chancellor, Prof. Tunji Ibiyemi said Medical Laboratory is the backbone of the University.

The 32 inductees are the fourth set of students of Achievers University to be inducted into the council .

The oath taking signals their official license to practice as Medical Laboratory scientists.

36 students were penciled for the induction but 32, according to the Head of the department, Dr Mathew Olaniyan qualified through periodical University evaluation as well as the professional examinations of Medical Laboratory Science Council of Nigeria.

The Vice chancellor of the varsity, Prof. Tunji Ibiyemi said Medical Laboratory Science remains one of the star programmes in the institution charging the students to be good ambassadors of the ivory tower.

The event featured presentation of awards to distinguished graduands with Okpoli henry collecting two awards, he was the best graduating inductee.
