An Economist, Mr Stephen Taiye Adeuti has emerged the flag bearer of the Labour Party in the November governorship election in oOndo state.
Mr Adeuti was unanimously adopted by the party delegates after his only challenger, Mr Olugbenga Julius Ojo stepped down for him during the exercise held in Akure.
The returning officer for the election and deputy national chairman of the party, Com Ladi Iliya commended the aspirants for the spirit of sportsmanship and charged them to continue in this direction for the party's success in the forthcoming election.

The party's candidate, Mr Adeuti thanked the delegates for the confidence reposed in him and vowed to lead the party to success in November.
The state chairman of the party, Wale Gbakinro appealed to members to start aggressive campaign for and successful outing in November.
The primaries was monitored by INEC officials from Abuja and the ondo state office as well as national and state officials and security agencies.
