Late Ajasin Varsity worker, Olaimolu laid to rest in Igbaraoke

The remains of the late ace Yoruba newscaster and an administrator, Abiodun Olaimolu have been committed to mother earth in his country home, Igbaraoke, Ondo State.

Pastor Emmanuel Adebayo described the deceased as God fearing and a developer.

It was an emotion Laden burial service for late Abiodun Olaimolu.

This is understandable, Mr Olaimolu died at an unriped age of 54.

The open air service had in attendance, Journalists, media practitioners and staff of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba akoko.

In his sermon, Pastor Emmanuel Adebayo said Mr Olaimolu's death could be painful but God knows best urging the family to take solace in the fact that God giveth and taketh.

He noted that the deceased was a committed servant of God and a community development.

While saying death could come knocking at anytime, the cleric urged the congregation to always seek the kingdom of God.

After the service, there was a dust to dust rite where emotion was betrayed.

In an interview, colleagues at OSRC and AAUA described him as a lovely person.

Family members said his death has created a vacuum and would be greatly missed.

Late Olaimolu started his working career as a Journalist with OSRC in the late 80s. Abide, as was fondly called was an ace Yoruba newscaster.

Appointed the pioneer public relations officer of Adekunle Ajasin University Akungba akoko, late Olaimolu worked in various departments in the institution where he rose to the rank of a deputy registrar until his home calling at the age of 54.
