Football stakeholders across the state have continued to commend and appreciate the re- organisation of Sunshine Stars Football Club of Akure by the ODSFA Management under the leadership of Prince Dapo Ajibade.
According to Comrade Mike Fabomi who is the Chairman of the Nigeria Football Coaches Association in the state, the recent changes were needed to reposition the team.
" I must commend the ODSFA leadership for taking the bull by the horns, we must take certain decisions in the general interest of the state and the team".
In his words, Veteran coach, Mr Ade Gbangba while commending the decisions stressed the need for all the stakeholders to give maximum support to the new leadership of the football agency.
"It is very good that some decisions are being taken by the ODSFA Management towards improving the fortune of the Akure based team".
"We must all rally round the new leadership and guide it to succeed in the new assignment".
Board members of the Ondo State Football Association, Mr Samuel Patani and Mr Moses Fadoju while congratulating the new ODSFA leadership said the reorganisation of Sunshine Stars being carried out will produce the desired results.
Mr Patani said "we must support every decision towards improving the team ahead of next soccer season. It is a standard practice everywhere to rebuild for greatness".
Mr Moses Fadoju commended Gov. Mimiko for the choice of the new leadership saying it will produce the desired results.
"We must appreciate God for this moment and give special thanks to Gov. Mimiko. An important decision that will lead to overall success".
